The Story Behind Quanta: Three Physicists, One Energy

Long before Quanta became a clothing brand, it was three friends sitting in the same physics lectures, trying to make sense of the universe's smallest building blocks. We studied particle physics together at university, back when our biggest worry was the next exam, not the next collection drop.

Life took us to three different cities. We each became mothers, built separate lives, and settled into routines an ocean apart from the lecture halls where we met. But somewhere between school runs and late nights, we found our way back to each other — and to the idea that we still wanted to build something together.

That something is Quanta.

In physics, a quantum is the smallest discrete unit of energy — the fundamental packet that everything else is built from. We chose the name because it captures exactly what we wanted this brand to be about: energy, in its most essential form. Not just the energy of a well-made outfit, but the energy you carry into a room, the energy you want to feel comfortable and confident in.

That's the idea behind everything we design: pieces that resonate with your energy. Our coord sets and modest wear are made to move with you, not against you — thoughtful, comfortable, and put together with the same care we once put into solving problems on a chalkboard.

We're building Quanta from scratch, as three moms in three different cities, learning the business side as we go, the same way we once learned physics — one equation, one late night, one small breakthrough at a time.
